The Nissan Micra has been bestowed with a new special edition Kiiro version, which will be limited to 250 units – half as numerous as the recently announced Juke Kiiro.
The Kiiro edition models have been produced as a promotional partnership with the most recent Batman film and while they stop short of having Batman emblems, there are a few distinct touches to set them apart.

Similar to the Juke Kiiro, the Micra Kiiro gets Kiiro graphics on the C-pillar as well as yellow trim details on the front bumper, rear bumper and side panels. It also receives an Echo Grey body colour, rear privacy glass and sits on gloss black 17-inch alloy wheels.

Based on the Acenta trim level, the Micra Kiiro gets Nissan’s Vision pack as standard – which includes rear parking sensors, sat-nav and automatic air conditioning. The interior doesn’t get the distinct touches of the Juke Kiiro, so there’s no Kiro-specific yellow stitching or Kiiro badges. A seven-inch touchscreen uses the NissanConnect infotainment system – featuring TomTom navigation with live traffic updates, Android car and Apple CarPlay.
There are no changes to the powertrain with the Kiiro providing the same 99bhp 1.0-litre turbocharged three-cylinder available across the Micra range with either a five-speed manual or automatic CVT gearbox.
This ought to return similar fuel-efficiency figures to the Acenta, which manages 50.4mpg and 121g/km of CO2. Meanwhile, insurance groups of between eight and nine for the Micra range also helps it appeal to younger drivers.
Pricing has also been announced for the Micra Kiiro, with the manual version starting at £18,375 and the automatic £19,725.
