Mercedes has previewed the look of the next-generation A-Class by unveiling the idea A Sedan at the 2017 Shanghai motor Show.
The idea previews the future look of the brand’s next generation of compact vehicles – more specifically, the fourth-generation A-Class as well as the possible growth of the little vehicle variety with a new A-Class saloon.

The idea is longer than the present hatch, however narrower as well as taller. Its only familiar style style is the Panamericana grille, which was very first seen on the AMG GT as well as is expected to function on all ‘full-house’ AMG designs (like the A 45 AMG) in the coming years.
The 20-inch alloys, surface outlining on the bonnet as well as narrow LED headlamps are new styling features.
Mercedes’ chief style policeman Gorden Wagener told auto Express, “The next generation of our little cars, we can develop from scratch. The proportions will be familiar – it will still be an A-Class – however we just made it so much better. The car, even though it’s front-wheel drive, has our typical rear-wheel-drive proportions. We can put bigger wheels on the platform, too; we handled to negotiate that with the engineering side. however the next generation will look even sportier, in a extremely clean style.”
