There’s a seven-inch digital gauge cluster ahead of the driver and, atop the dashboard, a seven-inch touchscreen infotainment system with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto. other standard features include adaptive cruise control, lane assist and a traffic sign recognition system, which automatically displays the current speed limit on the gauge cluster.
As with the rest of the Tipo range, buyers of the Tipo City sport only have one engine choice. It’s a naturally aspirated 1.0-litre three-cylinder petrol unit, which produces 99bhp and 190Nm of torque. The unit sends drive to the front wheels via a five-speed manual gearbox.
It makes for a rather pedestrian 0–62mph time of 11.8 seconds and a top speed of 119mph. However, the car makes up for this by being economical – Fiat says the engine will return 51.4mpg on the WLTP combined cycle, while producing 125g/km CO2.
